Phillips' Mill is putting out the call for entries for its 30th annual spring photography exhibition.
“Photography as Art, Photographer as Artist" has been the enduring theme of the juried show since its inception. This year, the Mill will mark three decades of presenting what has become an internationally recognized show.
Submissions will be accepted online via Smarter Entry from February 1 to 28. Up to six images may be submitted and artists are encouraged to submit a “body of work” to best represent their creative expression. Work in any photographic medium, from historic to digital, is eligible. Artists can also request a concise, one page portfolio review of submitted work. All photographic artists, local to worldwide, are invited to submit their work.
The juror for this year’s show, Jill Enfield, is an internationally renowned fine art photographer, author and educator. A leading authority on alternative photographic processes, her work has been shown throughout the U.S. and Europe and can be found in museums and private collections around the world.
Enfield has taught at The New School’s Parsons School of Design since the late 1980s as well as at the International Center for Photography in New York City, and at workshops throughout the world. Her award-winning books are used in schools worldwide.
