2020 Phillips' Mill Juried Photo Exhibition

A Swift Change in Plans

The 27th exhibition of photography at Phillips Mill was markedly different than planned. All the same, Phillips' Mill Photo was well prepared to transition the April 2020 exhibit, originally planned for a month-long showing at the Mill, to an online platform.

The committee of Mill Members, led by Spencer Saunders and co-chaired by Alina Marin-Bliach, had already digitized the show.

The new capabilities allowed for a ready shift to an online venue required by the pandemic's need for social distancing.

Our esteemed juror Emmet Gowin selected 143 images, from 1000 submissions, for the exhibition.

Congratulations to all those that have been accepted and to the award winners. Emmet Gowin loved the diversity of the work and the considerable talent evident in all the submissions.
