On Midsummer’s Night (June 24) the Mill lawn was the setting for a merry rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Mill members and their guests dined amid a sparkling, magic forest where lively actors performed a delightfully bowdlerized version of Shakespeare’s popular comedy.
On a beautiful Sunday afternoon at the end of June, 30 art lovers and artists converged at the Mill to attend our first Art Focus event, For the Love of Watercolor
With the ghost light finally turned off after three years, actors filled the stage with great acting, song, live music and dancing. Comedic plays of eight local playwrights were the bones of the show.

A large and lively group of about 120 Mill members came together on the evening of Friday, April 8th, following the long COVID hiatus. It was the first of many special events being planned for members this year. Thanks to all the volunteers who made it happen!

Phillips’ Mill is run by volunteers. Although it goes without saying that we appreciate the work of all of our volunteers every day, we are taking this opportunity to say thank you to a few individuals who have donated so much of their time and energy to the Phillips’ Mill Community Association.

Nancy Saladik has said she tries to capture “the simple, raw emotions of the genuineness of children” in her work. She succeeded in “Daily Practice,” from the 2020 Phillips’ Mill Art Show.
The veteran National Geographic photographer, world traveler and visual storyteller will be the solo juror for the internationally recognized show.

Live Theater Returns for One Truly Magnificent Evening at the Mill
As the lights come up on Broadway, so too will they brighten the stage at Phillips’ Mill on Saturday, November 20, at 7 pm, with a live play reading –– to a live audience –– the first since the pandemic closed theater doors.
